Furuno Electric Co., Ltd. develops and supplies marine electronics and related sensing technology, and organises its catalogue by the kind of vessel or application a customer runs: merchant marine, fishing vessels, workboats, recreational boats and coastal monitoring, alongside non-marine lines in GNSS, healthcare and disaster prevention.

For merchant marine the company supplies a complete bridge outfit. Navigation products include marine radars in the FAR-15x8 series and FAR-2xx8 series, chart radar in the FAR-30x5 series, and specialist radars such as the FICE-100 ice radar and the FOIL-200 oil radar. Positioning and heading are covered by the GP-170 GNSS navigator and the SC-70 and SC-130 satellite compasses, with the NAVpilot-1000 autopilot, the DS-85 Doppler speed log, the DS-60 Doppler sonar, the GS-100 satellite speed log, the FE-800 navigational echo sounder, the WV-100 wave analyzer and the BR-500 bridge navigational watch alarm system. Electronic chart display and information systems run from the FMD-3005 through the FMD-3100 and FMD-3200/3300, supported by the Gate-1 automatic chart update system, the FURUNO VOYAGER bridge system and the VR-7000/7000S voyage and simplified voyage data recorder. Communications equipment covers the FM-8900S VHF radiotelephone, the FS-1575 and FS-2575 MF/HF radiotelephones, the RC-2024 GMDSS radio rack console, FAX-30 and FAX-410 weather facsimile receivers, NX-900, NX-700A and NX-700B Navtex receivers, the FA-170 Class A AIS transponder, and Inmarsat terminals including FELCOM251/501 FleetBroadband and the FELCOM20, FELCOM18 and FELCOM19 mobile earth stations. Displays include the MU-152, the MU-152HD/192HD and RD-20/50 remote displays. Newer marine solutions include the AR-100M augmented reality navigation system, the PS-100 planning station, the FFSP-100 anti-jamming and spoofing system, and HermAce, a cyber security and remote monitoring platform.

For fishing vessels and workboats the emphasis shifts to fish finders, sonar and multi beam sonar, current indicators, radar, multi function displays, GPS chart plotters, compasses, speed logs, ECDIS and INS, radiotelephones, weather fax, Navtex, AIS, satellite communications and loud hailers. Marine cameras, marine apps, instruments and multi-purpose displays extend the range to workboats and recreational craft, and coastal monitoring systems form a separate line.

Outside the marine market, Furuno supplies GNSS technology for timing, automotive and industrial use: timing multi-GNSS receiver modules such as GT-100, GT-90/GT-9001 and GT-88, the RCB-100 carrier board, GNSS disciplined oscillators including GF-102/103/105S/105G, GF-8801/02/03, GF-8804/05 and GF-8048, the TB-1 field time sync generator, the eRideOPUS 9 dual-band receive chip and the GN-87 module, plus antennas and accessories such as AU-500/AU-300, AU-217, GPA-014, AU-18 and AU-15. Its healthcare line comprises the CA-310, CA-800, CA-400 and CA-270 clinical chemistry analyzers with matching reagents, and the CM-300 and CM-200 light ultrasound bone densitometers, while disaster prevention is served by a meteorological monitoring and analysing system. The company also runs Furuno Maritime Training, NavSkills and CBT NXT, and supports installed equipment through downloads, legacy product support and the Furuno Sensor SDK.
