Privacy Policy

This page explains what Underwater Technology collects and why. It is short because the site does very little with data.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted analytics instance to count page views and understand which pages get read. It records the page visited, approximate location derived from IP, and referring site. It does not set advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and the data is not sold or shared.

Directory listings

Company listings are compiled from publicly available information, principally each company's own website. If you represent a listed company and want the entry corrected or removed, contact us and we will do it.

Company submissions and enquiries

If you submit a company for listing or send an enquiry, we store what you send us so we can act on it. That includes your name, email address and the content of the message. We use it to respond and to process the listing, and for nothing else.

Third parties

The site is hosted on Vercel and its database is Supabase. Both process data on our behalf as infrastructure providers. Outbound links to company websites and cited sources are not controlled by us and have their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will appear here.
