Its subsea mechanical and engineering unit carries an extensive range of subsea products and offers engineering services alongside that hardware, so the same unit can supply a product and the engineering work that puts it to use. Other units within the group handle aviation fuel and process systems, refuelling systems for yachts, topside and hydraulic systems, and machining and fabrication work. Taken together, those units support global industries. The customer base reaches into defence and renewables, into aquaculture and the wider marine sector, into industrial work, into oil and gas, into the yacht market, and into the field the company groups under future technologies. The group brings together sales, engineering services, production, maintenance, and hydraulic, mechanical, and electronics services, and it delivers all of them from multiple locations worldwide. Around 450 people work for Imenco, which runs offices and production facilities in several countries, and that spread of locations gives the business its international reach. Sales, engineering, production and service capability therefore sit close to the customers who need them rather than in one country alone. The most distinctive thing about the company remains the breadth of its technical scope. Subsea, aviation, hydraulic, machining, and fabrication capabilities sit inside a single group, positioned around smart solutions for demanding operational environments, so a customer working in one of those areas can draw on capability built up in the others.
