Mencast Holdings Ltd. and its subsidiaries form a regional provider of engineering and maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions. The business is organised around three segments: Offshore and Engineering, Marine, and Energy Services. Across those segments the company serves the offshore, marine, oil and gas, and broader energy-related industries, with additional work connected to construction and infrastructure, utilities, water treatment, and reclamation. In Offshore and Engineering, the group carries out inspection, maintenance, and fabrication of offshore structures, as well as engineering and other services for onshore structures. That segment takes on turnkey project management and budget development in mechanical structural engineering and installation, and it covers design, procurement, fabrication, and installation of structural and precision engineering systems and plants. It provides a full range of topside, or rope access, services for offshore and inshore use. In Marine, the company manufactures and refurbishes sterngear equipment, performs ship inspection, repair and maintenance, and carries out engineering, fabrication, and marine project management. Its waterfront facilities and subsea expertise make bespoke marine solutions possible, among them customised manufacturing, mobile reclaiming and reconditioning of hull parts, and the repairing, refurbishing, and modification of propellers. Energy Services focuses on toxic waste management and other waste-related work. The group has a growing business in waste remediation and recycling, so its activities extend beyond traditional marine engineering into environmental services.
