N-Sea

Subsea services provider with a dedicated survey arm delivering hydrographic, geophysical and geotechnical survey work, plus UXO and inspection support.

//Overview

N-Sea is an end-to-end subsea services provider focused on projects across the offshore asset life cycle. It serves customers in offshore wind, offshore oil and gas, and interconnectors, primarily in the North Sea and Baltic region, and its work supports the international offshore energy industry. The company provides smart, fit-for-purpose solutions for subsea infrastructure projects at every stage, from development and planning through construction and installation, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning. Its survey work supplies site-characterisation data needed for subsea infrastructure planning and project de-risking. N-Sea collects and processes geophysical, seismic, geotechnical, and environmental data, and uses it to support subsea project design, productivity, consenting, regulatory needs, and decisions on new developments, lifetime extensions, and decommissioning. That survey capability covers construction and seabed risk management tasks such as detecting UXO, boulders, and debris, plus surveying existing subsea assets including cables, umbilicals, manifolds, and pipelines. The company clears project sites of unexploded ordnance and other obstacles, providing geophysical surveys to identify targets, visual inspection and identification of objects, and disposal and clearance of confirmed UXO and non-UXO objects, which creates safe project sites for efficient development. It offers tailored cable repair and installation services for subsea power cables, including transport to installation, along with engineering, procurement, construction and installation solutions for HVAC and HVDC subsea power cables. Its IRM, construction, and decommissioning work supports subsea infrastructure such as pipelines, umbilicals, foundations, manifolds, and platform jackets. During operation and maintenance it provides inspection, repair, replacement, maintenance, emergency response, and construction services, and it stores subsea cables and associated accessories. At end of life it delivers subsea infrastructure decommissioning, including abandonment and removal, and reinstates project sites in a safe and environmentally sustainable condition. Running through all of that are a commitment to safety, sustainability, quality, project management, and in-house data management, with vessels, equipment, and offshore professionals combining multiple technical capabilities into integrated project delivery.
