SubC Partner

Supplies subsea survey and inspection technology and services for offshore cable and marine projects.

//Overview

SubC Partner is an international supplier of turnkey solutions and services for the process and energy industries, based at Sahara 4 in Esbjerg, Denmark, with its fabrication centre at the Port of Esbjerg. It designs, builds and delivers complete process plants and complex systems, covering engineering and design, fabrication and assembly, installation and commissioning, and inspection and maintenance. The company presents itself as a single-source partner that takes full responsibility for scope, coordination and delivery, so customers can reduce interfaces, manage risk and keep quality consistent across a project lifecycle. Three industries are named: renewable energy, conventional energy, and food and pharma. Work ranges from complex offshore systems to hygienic facilities where documentation and compliance matter, drawing on stated experience in asset integrity, complex piping systems and structural solutions. Fabrication is handled in-house by project engineers, QHSE managers, welders and metal workers, and the workshop produces skids, deck extensions, boat landings, support racks, lifting appliances, mechanical parts and sea fastening. Aluminium structures are designed, fabricated and installed for offshore platforms, vessels and rescue systems, typically as 2.7-1 containers, platforms, stairways, gangways and handrails, normally in 6060, 6082, 5083 and 5754 alloys, developed using 3D modelling and small scale prototyping. Steel work covers topside and subsea structures, lifting appliances, skids and sea fastening structures, with procedures for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, duplex, titanium and Inconel, including automated welding and Inconel cladding. Process equipment work includes spools, piping, riser flow lines, tie-ins and complete modules, plus repair of cyclones, tubular heat exchangers, pressure vessels and pig launcher and receiver valves, with pressure testing performed in-house. Site and vessel services cover plumbing, electrical work, modifications to hull or deck space, accommodation modifications, and the fabrication and installation of specifically prepared sea fastening for the safe transport of wind turbine components and units for the oil and gas industry, along with mobilising and demobilising, drawings, welding engineering and quality assurance, spool fabrication, pipe pressure testing and procurement. A rope access team supplies demounting, installation, painting, retrofits and NDT, with confined space trained technicians, certified mechanics and electricians, rigging and IRATA L3 supervisors, working from an onsite inspection, risk assessment and method statement agreed before mobilisation. Welders are certified and approved by DNV, and technicians, project managers and engineers work to a DNV GL certified ISO 9001 quality system. Under ROV and subsea, SubC Partner inspects turbine foundations using custom-built light to medium Work Class ROV systems, proof tested in an in-house pool before offshore deployment. An ROV can be delivered by transfer vessel and lifted to a work platform in a small lifting basket, avoiding large support vessels, with two operators mobilising the complete system quickly and producing position-logged video for each turbine. Named equipment includes the BlueROV2 and the COALA CRAWLER, and the product side also lists gangways, JibFlex and the Jibflex Preload system. Project references span cooling modules for CERN, a power-to-x facility, port repair work and offshore jacket readiness scopes.
