//Overview

Tidewater is a bulk commodity transportation and multi-modal terminal company serving the Pacific Northwest and connected markets, with operations extending over the Columbia-Snake River System and into Canada. The company moves freight by barge, terminal, pipeline, rail connection, highway connection, and related marine services. Its barge business carries grain, refined petroleum products, ethanol, wood products, liquid and dry fertilizers, containerized freight, and project cargo over the full length of the Columbia-Snake River System. It operates 14 towboats and approximately 160 barges, supported by mechanics, electricians, welders, multiple moorages, and a drydock, and this network connects customers to local, regional, and global markets. The terminal business centers on five strategically located terminals and five pipelines along the Columbia-Snake River System. Those terminals handle a wide range of cargos and link to intermodal railroad, highway, and pipeline networks. A railcar storage facility sits at Tidewater's Snake River Terminal in Pasco, Washington. Through these facilities, Tidewater provides connections for truck, rail, and waterborne freight throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Tidewater runs environmental services for marine and industrial customers as well. This side of the business uses a fleet of conventional and specialized equipment and vehicles to handle waste transportation and cleaning needs. The services cover hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal and transportation, industrial cleaning, catch basin and storm drain services, roll-off services and drop box rentals, ship and tank cleaning, ship cargo hold cleaning, and wet and dry vacuum services, with coverage throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and parts of California. In Canada, Tidewater operates as a marine transporter serving petroleum-related cargo movements across the West Coast of Canada, the US, and the Arctic. The Canadian business is the primary supplier of oil cargo transport in Western Canada and the largest provider of bulk fuel products to Vancouver Island. It provides over-the-water bunkering, lightering, and shipdocking services using cargo compartment tank barges and tugs. Tidewater Subsea Ltd., a service division of Tidewater Canada, provides submarine cable laying and remotely operated vehicle services. Across these businesses, the company works to safe operations, environmental stewardship, and the support of marine, industrial, and intermodal logistics needs.
